Golf vacations have different meanings to different people. Maybe your idea of a golf vacation includes scenic drives around a lake like Flathead Lake, the largest natural fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. Or maybe you envision getting in a few hours of fly fishing on one of the Northwest Montana streams or rivers after a great day of golf.

People come to the Flathead Valley from all over the world just to golf some of our 9 championship golf courses. Other people come to Northwest Montana to hike some of the over 600 miles of trails in Glacier National Park "The Crown of the Continent."
Other people come to Northwest Montana to explore millions of acres of national forests or wilderness areas. Some visitors come to view the wildlife, rare birds, big horn sheep, mountain goats, marmots, elk, deer, moose, bear and much more.
If your vacation plans include shopping at malls or shopping at quaint local Montana shops you won't be disappointed. Kalispell, Montana is a major regional shopping destination and Whitefish, Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Polson, Ronan and all the other small villages have those special shops you are looking for.
Planning needs to include transportation to an area and you will be happy with our facilities at the Glacier International Airport or our historic Whitefish Depot housing the modern Amtrak station. If you are traveling by automobile we have two major US highways going through the area US highway 2 and US highway 93.
Maybe you should visit the Flathead Valley. Start with golfing some of our championship golf courses and then go from there. Everything is just a short drive away from our deluxe accommodations.
